The title “Sharing The Gospel” was chosen prayerfully wanting it to represent the true meaning of telling others about the Messiah Jesus Christ.

According to the glorious gospel (the Good News of Redemption)of the (glorious) blessed God, which was committed to my trust. 1 Timothy 1:11 (KJV)

Sharing the Gospel is a more complete description of what it means to share about eternal salvation.

The Jesus Christ of the Gospel has to be clearly presented, why He came, what He did on earth, why he died on a Cross and shed His own blood, why He rose again and what salvation is all about.

(Comprehensive evangelistic Pdf’s to help you have been provided at the bottom of this page)

We have to explain what Heaven is and that a real eternal hell exists. We have to explain that the LORD our Heavenly Father God (Adonai Avinu) loves them as an individual so much that He gave His only Son to die in their place on a Cross.  Once they accept Father Gods offer of salvation they become a child of God acceptable in His sight and favoured in life.

Father God (Adonai Avinu) did this so that they could experience eternal unity with Him and with all their family and friends past and present and future who accept the salvation and Lordship of the Messiah Jesus Christ in their lives.

The way we convey the Gospel message can be done in a multitude of ways, depending on the different environments we are in and the wide spectrum of different non Christian people we are communicating with.

The witnessing section will help assist you on your exciting journey.

Now its time to do some Fishing;

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. Mark 1:17 (KJV)

The Greatest Miracle of all is not raising the dead or opening the eyes of one born blind: The Greatest Miracle of all is the free gift of Eternal Salvation found only in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12(KJV)

The Battle Field of Salvation

Why is it so important to share the Gospel (tell others about the salvation found only in Jesus Christ)?

Have you ever been in a situation where you have been really scared?  Most people have at one time or other in their lives. Christians can experience a lot of anxiety and fear about witnessing the gospel of salvation only found in Jesus Christ. Why?  because they don’t know how to start the conversation. We have provided lots of advise and techniques to get you started in the “sharing the gospel section”.

The greatest thing that can ever happen to a non Christian person is to come into the knowledge of salvation and a relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s the single most defining point of anyone’s life. The knowledge that you have been forgiven eternally pardoned and will experience eternal life after death in Heaven. Its so awesome and so precious it makes you want to thank God continually.

Remember God the Fathers heart, His number one priority is the salvation of everyone that includes everyone in your family, every one of your friends and everyone in your community.

We must not neglect Gods call to reach the lost, remember that’s why Jesus came.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10).

We the UK Christian Church, we individual Christians must focus our priorities on reaching the lost because this is God the Fathers heart; it is His priority, His desire.  We must arise and not neglect winning the lost it’s what Father God wants. He through Jesus Christ can give men and women new hearts, He can change a man who hates holiness to love it, He can make a woman who uses His name in vain to bow her knee before Him and declare Jesus is Lord. It is the power of our Father God that when we witness He will come by the Spirit and brake up the hard heart and turn a nation back to Him.

Do you hear the sound of one calling “now is the time”.  Do you hear the heart of the Father, His longing and passion to gather the nation?

We are all called to impart the seed of the word, the simple message of salvation found only in Jesus Christ, into the hearts of the spiritually dead.  Then God by His Spirit will break every bondage, every sin that binds them and cause the lost to be found.

Pray and again we say pray, never ever give up, and continue to press in with prayer and more prayer for those around your life (Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17).  Jesus will answer He is mighty to save, you are powerless you cannot save the lost but the Lord strong Almighty He is able to save even the hardest of heart.  You may be weak but He is Strong and He has promised to strengthen you as you reach out in to the darkness, as you shine like stars in a perverse generation, Jesus is Mighty to save and the proof of that lies in the fact that we heard the message and now we are saved.

Jesus has set us free and now we can live in that freedom that His salvation brings the grace and multitude of His mercies towards us.  When we cry out to Him, He hears us and answers our prayers for the lost, He will save all who repent but remember He is Lord and as we call upon His ear He is able to make men and women repent.  Don’t worry about the journey of those you bring to salvation Jesus is mighty and able to keep all His people Holy (His Church) and lead all His children through safe pastures until they are with Him again in Heaven.

How could we not share this priceless knowledge of the gift of salvation found in Jesus Christ with other non Christian people. But the sad reality is that most Christians do not share their faith regularly and its been estimated that as high as 97 per cent of the Christian Church in the UK do not witness to non Christian people at all in the year. Only 2 per cent share their faith on a regular basis. The United Kingdom Movement for Christian Evangelism aims to change this to 100 per cent witnessing regularly, this is God the Father’s heart’s desire.

Why do we fail to witness?  The simple answer, witnessing is the spiritual battle field where the eternal destiny of men and women will be desided. Christians are all called to this great battle but most do not like to fight.

We can make a multitude of excuses why we do not share the message of salvation found only in Jesus Christ. If we fail in this mission, this calling the eternal destination of those around us will be a place the bible calls Hell.   We have to equip ourselves to be bold, to pray continually and give a clear presentation of the gospel to all our family, friends and the people we associate with daily. We have to arise to this calling so they can personally hear and accept the message of grace and salvation found only in Jesus Christ (it’s estimated most people hear the gospel 7 times before they accept salvation).

We have to remember witnessing is always a process, when witnessing to family, friends or neighbours if they do not receive the gospel message straight away we have sown a seed and softened their hearts.

If they accept the gospel of salvation only found in Jesus Christ we have won someone to Heaven and the Lord will help them to grow and become part of His body.

If they totally reject the message we still get the wonderful opportunity of explaining the gospel to them and the Lord will continue to draw them into His kingdom.  At some time in their journey they may receive Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour.

In every point of the witnessing process we show them the way of salvation.

This has to be worth all our prayer and effort, even when it may appear to the natural eye that we are not making any impact, the Lord is faithful. He is able to make the hardest heart tender, Jesus will be working by His Spirit on the hearts of all the non Christians we meet and witness to. Remember to persevere and continue to pray for the Lord to save all your family, all your friends and all your neighbours. Pray that the Lord will put other labourers for the gospel across their path to talk to them about salvation. Share the message of salvation found only in Jesus Christ with them on every occasion either verbally, with a gift of a tract, CD, DVD or book (see 1 person a year plan)

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)

With your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (read Ephesians 6:10-18)

It’s a continual battle for the salvation of others; it’s a calling that continues for the rest of our lives. Jesus told us to Go and preach the gospel therefore we are called to be involved in a spiritual war that determines the eternal destination of all men and women.

Remember fear will always stop us doing the right thing it will inactivate our faith for the salvation of others.   Even if you feel uncomfortable, intimidated or a little scared of sharing your faith,”” fear not do not be afraid”, be comforted that Jesus is with you always. Remember Jesus commands all believers to go and tell everyone in every nation the good news,

And Jesus came and talked with them, saying, all power (Authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and make people from all nations into disciples, baptizing (immersing) them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Trinity): and Teaching them to observe (obey everything) all things that I have commanded you: and, lo, (Remember) I am with you always, yes, even unto the end of the world (Age). Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, (trinity)” (Matt. 28:19).

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15)

Jesus never intended for this great calling to be a burden. Telling others this message of freedom is to be as natural to us as breathing air.  We are to witness out of a deep commitment and love for Jesus Christ, a focused prayer life and out of a deep love for the lost family, friends and those who live around us.

Remember: We only have this one life to witness to the lost, one life to tell others about this priceless salvation found only in Jesus Christ.  Once we pass over into heaven we will never ever have this opportunity to share with the lost, can you imagine that?

We have to get out there into the world around us and start having conversations about the Lord. Our witnessing has to be practiced, practice makes perfect, the more we do our witnessing the more we will learn about being effective.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10).

Always share the message of salvation with a sincere hope of bringing others to salvation by grace.

Witness with all your heart to give non Christian people the opportunity of heaven, our job is to warn people about eternal hell.  Hell is real! It is a terrifying place of utter fear, torment, pain, darkness, fire, and eternal separation from God.  Those who are not saved (know Jesus as Lord and Saviour) find themselves condemned to hell once they die because they have broken Gods law (See correctly presenting the gospel tab).

Our witnessing is a sign to them pointing them to salvation found only in our Lord Jesus Christ, a sign that points them away from a life of separation (sin) from God the Father to an eternal Heaven.

You would have to completely hate others to not warn them about this terrible place, a real hell where multitudes have gone because Christians failed to obey and share the Gospel of salvation found only in Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour.

Are we trying to condemn you? Definitely not! We want to encourage you in your Christian life to make choices that make an eternal difference to the lives of others.

If you are reading this article you obviously have a hearts desire to witnessing to the non Christians around you.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10).

One question you can ask yourself is what really matters? What thing can I do that will still make an eternal difference to people?

  • It will not really matter if you got married or remained single
  • It does not matter whether you had children or not
  • It will not matter how much money you earned or how big the house you lived in
  • It will not matter how rich or famous you were or anything else the world values

One day when our journey of life comes to an end we will have to stand before our Holy God (Adonai Avinu) and give account for our lives. We will stand before Him and see His holiness, light and love.

The only thing that really matters is that we are in Heaven and not in hell and that we have done our best to tell others.

The most important defining decision we can ever make is receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and securing life here on earth and life eternal in heaven.  Let’s help non Christians to hear the truth and enable them to make this great decision.  To look upon His Holiness, His radiant light and realise that Heaven is a real place, Jesus is real, that the word of God (the Bible) told us the truth, that all our struggles, all our telling others the gospel counted for eternity.  It made an eternal difference to men and women who received Jesus as Lord and Saviour because we shared the truth of the gospel the most precious gift God the Father gave to all mankind through Jesus Christ.

It matters that we did our part of the job here on earth.  Give your whole life to this mission let nothing get in the way of sharing His love, His truth and Gods salvation found only in Jesus Christ.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father (John 14:12)

The Greatest Miracle of all is not raising the dead or opening the eyes of one born blind: The Greatest Miracle of all is the free gift of Eternal Salvation found only in Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is no greater gift than salvation.  It sets the sinner free from the despair and darkness of sin, it brings deliverance to the lost from an empty pointless existence and an eventual damnation to hell, and it reveals the true and living God, the Heavenly Father of light (Adonai Avinu) to those who don’t know Him.

You have the opportunity to offer others the Greatest, most powerful gift in the whole of creation “The Miracle of Salvation found only in Jesus Christ”, there is nothing that compares, nothing greater than this perfect gift by grace. You, yes you are the simple bearer, the Ambassador of the most powerful message and truth on earth (and in Heaven) a truth that determines the eternity of the people around you. Rejoice in the joy of this calling.

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents. (Luke 15:10) KJV

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:                                     (1 Corinthians 15:2-5) KJV

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with Excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.(1 Corinthians 2:1-5) (KJV)

The angels of heaven rejoice when anyone passes from judgment into salvation.

Let us determine in our hearts to share the greatest message on earth!

Jesus said “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest”. (Luke 10:2) KJV

Let us pray with all our hearts, let us weep over the lost people in our lives, and let us sincerely call upon the Lord Jesus Christ that He will bring revival in the United Kingdom.

Let our priority be the salvation of others; let that singular goal be the focus of all our personal witnessing efforts and the target of the United Kingdom Christian Church in all its variations.

As you begin your journey of telling others about salvation always act and speak in love.

Remember: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine (2 Tim 4:2-8). Preach the gospel in and out of season in both easy and hard situations for the Lord is faithful and He has promised to guide you,

For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. (Luke 12:12).

Below are two systems you can use to help you share the message of salvation with others. Stick to this plan, learn it, print it off and keep bringing the people you are witnessing to back to the points listed, look at the scriptures, learn them and read them to the people you witness to,

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)

We must individually receive Jesus as Saviour and Lord. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,” (John 1:12); “if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved,” (Rom. 10:9); For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not by works, lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8-9).

Pray and ask the Lord for opportunities to witness to strangers, to family, friends, neighbours and people around your life.  When the Lord gives these opportunities and you witness to them you can be absolutely sure of two things;

  1. It is an answer to your prayers
  2. The Lord is working in those peoples lives drawing them to Himself through Jesus Christ.

We have includes some Pdf’s below which will assist you as you reach out to your family, friends and the non Christians around you.  You can print them off as often as you like.  Its important to choose one you feel comfortable using, we recommend that when you are sharing the gospel go through the one you chose point by point so you don’t miss anything out.

Pray this prayer

Dear Father God,

I realise I am separated from you by my sinfulness and need your forgiveness in my life. I am sorry that I have been going my own way instead of your way. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for me on the cross paying in full for all my sin, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I willingly turn from my life of separation from You. I now invite you Jesus Christ to come into my heart as my personal Saviour and Lord. I believe I am forgiven and saved,
